When the news first broke with regards to the whole controversy, who may or may not, be starting during Week 15 in the National Football League, my co-worker and football friend was beyond disappointed about this information. Why, you ask You don’t know this, but my friend was just presented with tickets for the New York Jets v Indianapolis Colts as a holiday gift. He was born and raised on the Indianapolis Colts, yes, you guessed it he worships the Astroturf Peyton Manning actually walks on, so when Kevin found out that his idol may or may not be playing instantly broke his fragile heart, and to make it worse his favorite sport’s team will be calling plays in his own backyard. Although, Kevin is disappointed over the Colts decision, he’s more concerned for the young fans, who don’t understand the business-side of the NFL. Jacksonville Jaguars same day and same time as Kevin’s game; however, I’ll be at Gillette Stadium, (where I hail from) one thing, I do know is that Tom Brady and company won’t disappoint me well for showing up and actually throwing the football catching it and making the score count is a whole other discussion! Speaking as a Patriots’ enthusiast, and who can identify with all types of emotions while searching for excellence: flawlessness is great; on the other hand, as the saying goes: Nothing is what it seems.
